It's fun to see the new maps come out! If I might ask, if you had an idea for one, and were to sit down and draw it, how long does it take you to do a room like this? Painting a single mini for me goes from 1 hour on rank and file to 3+hours on a character I really want to look good.
Hi David, It takes me about 60-90 minutes to draw one of those. I paint minis, too, and the times you mention sound really close to what I spend on a cannon fodder mini vs. a player character or boss monster.
I do most of my mini painting in the winter months when it's too cold to go fishing (and no, I don't do ice fishing!)
I hear you. I will add tags when I can. Meanwhile, freebies that are ready for public consumption as opposed to previews/teasers are always in the Free Downloads list on the right sidebar.

Would you consider adding tags to your blog? It'd be real helpful, for example, to see all the 3D battle maps at once.
